This web site is in memory of Shannon Grace Wallace. God blessed her family with an angel so that she could grace the heavens. This site may be emotional to you, however, it is meaningful to us and our families and has helped us in the "healing" process involved with losing a loved one.
Shannon was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 (Edwards Syndrome) when Karen was 21 weeks pregnant. Her parents, Karen and Bob, welcomed her into this world at 31 weeks on Tuesday, August 5, 2003 at 6:23 am at Evanston Northwestern Hospital in Evanston, IL. She weighed 3 lbs./14 ozs. and was 15 inches long. Shannon had quite a bit of dark brown hair, unlike Kyle, Blake and Caroline who were all pretty much bald their entire first year.
Her family was honored to be able to share her very short presence in their lives. Shannon passed away in the company of her loved ones at 7:20am.
